ENERGY RESOURCES
Cook Inlet gas is rapidly being used up, but is there any plan for what to do when the wells are dry? We all know how cold the winters are here, burning wood might keep us warm, but there are only so many forests to cut down....and I suspect none of us want to see the beauty surrounding us to be cut down so we do not freeze! We need to find other sources of energy to heat our homes, Scandinavia has similar weather to Alaska. Maybe we should ask them how they stay warm at -26F (-32C)! I think they know how. If this means subsidies for heat pumps, let's find a way to make that happen without bankrupting the state.
